Henry Ellis a direct student of the legendary Budo Master Kenshiro Abbe Sensei from 1957. K Abbe Sensei 1915 - 1985 introduced Aikido to the UK in 1955 with a small demonstration at the National Judo Championships at the Royal Albert Hall in 1955. After a few more demonstrations he took Ken Williams Sensei as his first student. Henry Ellis was the personal assistant to Williams Sensei from 1957 at the now famous Hut Dojo..
